Yorkshire 4x4 is is the professional training arm of Yorkshire Outdoor. With many years of off-road training experience, Yorkshire 4x4 is trusted name with a positive, fresh outlook on professional training. We constantly strive for higher standards in Off-Road Health & Safety, and better driver awareness and driving techniques.
What we do. Many organisations employ key personnel whose role frequently involves dealing with rescue/repair situations in non-easily accessible environments. These people are highly trained experts in their fields, but in order to gain access to perform their duties they often need to drive in extremely hazardous terrain, climatic conditions, or at night.
Yorkshire 4x4 teaches your employees how to utilise four-wheel-drive vehicles to their maximum potential, in a way that is safe for themselves, their passengers and the vehicle.
Hands-on education. Our structured courses reveal all the basic information and principles necessary to understand and practice off-road driving. However, we don't just do theory - we enable our students to practice the techniques under the supervision of our expert instructors.
Research has proven that practical tuition is by far the most successful format to learn about off-road driving, and so all of our courses are 100% field-based.
Health & Safety is our driving force. The vehicles we use are of the highest standards, our instructors are in-house qualified, and our sites are regularly inspected and improved. In addition, our training techniques are continually being improved and updated, building on our 80 years of combined 4x4 off-road instructing experience.
